A fungus presentation will start off the experience inside Pony Creek Nature Center at 12:00.

At approximately 1:00 we will embark on a fungi-filled adventure with the Prairie States Mushroom Club! Join an expert guide for an afternoon fungi finding foray to learn about poisonous, edible, and unusual wild mushrooms. Whether you’re a seasoned enthusiast or a first-time explorer, this event is perfect for all experience levels—no prior mushroom knowledge required!
If you are interested in photography feel free to bring your camera.

Members of the Prairie State Mushroom Club will be available until 4:00, guests are welcome to stay until this time but are not required.

This event is free, however, donations directed towards the Prairie States Mushroom Club to help cover their travel expenses are welcome.
